Call for Posters/Papers
Energy 2030 is soliciting poster contributions to exhibit at the Conference. Poster topics should be focused on a topical area of the Conference, should be specific, and knowledge-oriented. An accompanying full length paper should be submitted for inclusion in the Conference proceedings. Papers submissions will be subsequently peer-reviewed for possible journal publication in ENERGY—The International Journal published by Elsevier.
Abstracts
Acceptance of Posters/Papers is based on Abstract submission, which is due by Monday September 1, 2008. Abstracts are to be submitted electronically to Dr. Peter Rodgers. Click on the link opposite to download the abstract template in Microsoft Word format. As guidance, the abstracts should not exceed two pages in length, including author biographies. If file size is too large for emailing, submissions can be uploaded through the Submissions page.
Papers
Full length papers are due for electronic submission by Friday October 3, 2008, and formatted to the supplied paper format guidelines.
Posters
Posters are due for electronic submission by Friday October 17, 2008. Click on the link opposite to download the template for poster preparation in PowerPoint format. The poster will be printed in A1 paper size (approximately 59.4 cm × 84 cm).
Posters/Papers must meet the conference theme and be of academic merit. Commercialism in posters should be minimized, in terms of advertising the capability of the authoring organization and/or their research partners. Such advertisement should cover no more than 15% of the poster surface area. Posters and Papers will be screened for commercialism, and excessive commercial content will result in the submission being rejected.
| Student submissions are especially encouraged. The adjudged best two student poster presentations will receive monetary awards of $1600 USD and $800 USD. |
